A Prayer

Paul prayed for the believers in Ephesus as documented in Ephesian’s 3:14-20. If the sentiments were valid for them, we should, perhaps, pray these things for ourselves.

Father,

You have named every family in Heaven and on Earth and I seek your grace and blessings. Please grant me, according to the abundance of your glory, strength and empowerment through your Spirit within me. I long for Christ to reside in my heart and to have unwavering faith in Him. May my roots grow deep and my foundation be firmly established in love.

Father, I pray that I may have the inner strength to comprehend, along with all your saints, the vastness of your love—the breadth, length, height, and depth of it. Help me to experience and understand Christ’s immeasurable love, a love that yet surpasses all human understanding.

I desire to be filled to the brim with your divine presence, Lord. Pour out your fullness upon me, so that I may live in complete accordance with your will and purpose. Let every corner of my being be saturated with your love, your wisdom, and your grace.

Thank you, Heavenly Father, for your unfailing love and the countless blessings you bestow upon me. I surrender myself to you, trusting that you will fulfill your plans for my life. In Jesus’ name, I pray.

Amen.
